FIFA Online: Free Beta Access and Screenshots

Looking for a new football/soccer game for your PC? If so, put your money away as EA Sports are currently allowing free beta access to FIFA Online, better still the game will still be free once all testing is complete!

FIFA Online is a massively multiplayer online football game, the gameplay is said to be on par with FIFA 10 as it shares the same engine, however the graphics do seem to be inferior.

You can sign up to beta access here, once you have signed up you must download the game, which is currently just under 1GB in size.

As it is in it’s beta stages there are a couple of problems with the game, however as EA receive feedback I’m sure they will begin ironing out these issues.

Upon installation I had a couple of display-related issues, my resolution (1366 x 768) or display adapter doesn’t seem to be supported, therefore I cannot play the game in full screen, that said everything else is pretty impressive.

The game features a pretty unique control system, where you use your cursor to direct your player, if you tap left click it passes the ball, if you hold left click it plays a lob pass, different button taps in different situations perform different passes/shots and tackles.

I have embedded a screen that i captured from the game below, however if you would like to see more check out the source link below.

Have you been playing the FIFA Online beta? If so, are you impressed?
