iPhone 5 RADIUS case improves on bumper

The new iPhone 5 RADIUS case is regarded as an improvement on the bumper style cases and the goal intended for the Kickstarter project has been reached. The minimalist case for the iPhone 5 still shows off the handset to its fullest, and some are saying this is a decent improvement compared to the conventional bumper and snap cases.

With the RADIUS case, your iPhone 5 is not hidden away allowing users to still appreciate the slim sleek style of the phone, and protects it from those day-to-day scratches that can occur. Back in October, we spoke about the iPhone 5 bumper cases keeping the same features and how this design keeps you device looking slim, highlighting a few embedded videos of this in action.

Receiving great reviews, the bumper case comes in a variety of different colors by Poetic for around $10, which is very good value for money. The RADIUS case can be seen on the Kickstarter website, viewed as the only aluminum case that still manages to show off the phones design, and we have heard some great responses about it. Some are saying that it is so minimalist you will hardly notice it, while others feel that those looking for the most minimalist case would not do wrong by the RADIUS.

Regular occurrences where the phone is dropped results in the corners receiving the most damage, but with the RADIUS this aspect is covered, containing light parts carved out of solid billets of aircraft grade aluminum. The corner modules are held together with the X frame and this also allows the iPhone to be placed facedown on flat surfaces, additionally, the cases will come in five different colors including polished aluminum, anodized red, cyan and grey along with a Special Edition Kickstarter green limited to 250.

The RADIUS will retail for $69. Kickstarter backers not only helped achieve the goal of $25,000 but exceeded it to what is now $56,114, and this could be ideal for any future projects. Have you been looking for the ideal iPhone 5 case, which is minimalist and still shows off your iPhone 5?
